Can you really be friends with two different sets of people?

The answer is, apparently not. Like serving two masters, at some point in time conflict will arise, and trying to remain neutral will only worsen the situation, because the truth is, you can't. At the end you become some sort of lone wolf, who actually doesn't give a damn about anything.

It's nice to have the illusion of friendship, but sadly it's essence is hard to define, and I, and this is my special case, have slowly been convinced that any friendship that requires membership in a group will not be real.
