Not so much left there either...
It seems that all state owned companies in irak are in a miserable state, after all. On the other hand, the penalty that the country will have to pay to borrow money will tend to be very high, and basically this will eat the entire oil profits.

Capital is coward

Yesterday I saw an excellent reportage on the BBC about the plans from the appointed government in Iraq. With the exception of Oil, all state companies will be privatized and sold to foreign investors, and for a pretty long period of time capital movements in both directions will not be taxed. It is true that the land needs massive investment at the moment, but as soon as the situation has stabilized a little bit, there will be nothing but pure financial looting.
