Update on Sabato

I may have found a german edition of "Sobre Heroes y Tumbas" for Katja. It's an edition from 1967 from an old bookstore.

I hope I get it.

Reading with a black eye

I went to Munich to visit my good friend Fernando, and on the seven hour long train ride I read Sabato's memoirs. I wanted to get a german version of "El Tunel", or "Sobre Heroes y Tumbas" for a friend, but they only had his books in spanish, so I ordered "Antes del fin" (1999), which was good, but not necessarily to be recommended, except in the case that you share that special kind of admiration, which is not blind, but where no matter what "burradas" the author says, you understand exactly why, and in summary, you forgive almost everything .

I have met many people who like to read, but do not have the time, those who only read things with a certain level, others who just read about anything, and finally those who just do not like read, and are proud of it. I read in der Spiegel that Bush is one of them, I don't know if it's true, but somehow, it wouldn't surprise me.
